Become a supplier

All of our opportunities are advertised on our e-procurement portal, called The Chest. You will need to register, but this is free and once you do so, you will be able to see all relevant opportunities that arise and bid for any you choose. In addition, as The Chest is a regional platform, you also get to see opportunities from other local councils and related organisations.

All opportunities over £25,000 are published on the government's Contract Finder, while high-value opportunities will also be published on the government's Find a Tender service.

If you need any assistance, please get in touch as we aim to provide advice and support to help you access our opportunities. We also welcome any suggestions on how we can make it easier for you to access opportunities, as we always look for ways to improve or to remove any barriers and make it easier to do business with us.

We use a standard set or requirements for organisations that work with us, and use standard terms and conditions, wherever possible, all of which are available in the downloads section below.

Yorkshire Purchasing Organisation

We are a member of the Yorkshire Purchasing Organisation (YPO), who are based in Wakefield and manage a wide variety of contracts and associated categories of goods and services for their membership. Other local councils are also members, and their website may offer further opportunities on both a sub-regional and regional basis.
