Recycling & Waste Collection Update
Please continue to leave your brown bin and recycling containers out if we can't reach you on your scheduled collection day. Bins and recycling containers should be presented in your usual collection spot from 6.30am. We may collect card recycling with a different vehicle at a different time. If you see a normal bin lorry collecting your recycling, this is due to the high levels of demand, but we can assure you that everything will still be recycled. A separate food waste vehicle will visit to collect food waste recycling.
Help is available for rough sleepers
If you see someone sleeping rough, especially in cold weather, you can help them by letting us know. Alerting us to rough sleepers can save lives.
Don't Be Misled. Be Informed.
There's a lot of misinformation about immigration and asylum seekers currently being circulated, so it's important that we put out the facts and set the record straight.
