We're keen to support young people with their career development and progression.
Work experience is a fantastic way to gain insight into your chosen career and provides you a real-life experience and understanding of what the job is really like.
Work experience can be useful for anyone of any age and at any stage of your career. It can help you to gain skills and decide what to do if you are:
- looking for your first job
- at school and looking for work experience
- at university and looking for short term unpaid internship or placement
- out of work and looking to get back into work
How to apply for a placement
Please complete our work placement request form which will enable us to match your request with a department. Due to the nature of our work, we may require up to a two-month lead time on requests to provide managers time to assess and coordinate who and what resources are available to support a quality placement.
Unfortunately, we can't guarantee to offer you a placement, but we'll try our best.
