FREE training course for landlords
The National Residential Landlords Association (NRLA) is running a free training course for landlords to help assist them when dealing with complaints of condensation, damp and mould.
The course will cover:
- The different types of dampness - rising, penetrating dampness, hygroscopic salts and condensation, and how to identify them
- The common causes and the solutions
- The law affecting dampness and condensation
- The responsibilities and obligations of the landlord, agent and tenant
- How to reduce its impact and some of the common misconceptions that both tenants and landlords have regarding condensation
- The importance of heating, ventilation and thermal insulation
- Practical issues and worked examples.

- How to remove/reduce occurrence of problems

The course takes place on Friday 15 November, 9.30am - 1.30pm at Bootle Town Hall.
