Community Asset Transfer - Invitation to Submit Expressions of Interest
St Helens Borough Council is pleased to invite expressions of interest from local VCSE
groups to take community ownership of the property known as King George V Playing Field and Changing Rooms, Earlestown.
The successful organisation will be invited to enter into a full repairing and insuring lease with St Helens Borough Council in respect of the above property.
The specific terms of the lease will be dependent upon the nature of the successful bid and will be negotiated with the successful applicant on completion of this process.
Organisations may be invited to work together to deliver services from the premises and we encourage partnership or consortium proposals. We encourage applications from organisations in and around the local area.
Organisations wishing to submit an expression of interest proposal should complete the expression of interest form.
Please note that the transfer of this asset will be subject to Fields in Trust and/or Charity Commission approval.
Details
The asset comprises circa 3.8 hectares (9.4 acres) of informal grass pitches with changing rooms accessed from Wharf Road.

The deadline for submitting your expression of interest is two weeks from date of advertisement.
