Last year, ACL - rated Good by Ofsted - supported nearly 600 people from St Helens borough in accessing a range of courses, covering areas such as digital skills, wellbeing, English, maths, childcare, and education.

Councillor Kate Groucutt, Deputy Leader of St Helens Borough Council and Cabinet Member for Business and Inclusive Growth, said:

"Our courses are designed to support people, no matter their age or skill level - in different ways. From building skills for employment, to improving wellbeing or developing confidence with digital tools. These information days give residents a chance to meet our friendly and supportive tutors, and find out what fantastic opportunities are available."

Upcoming information sessions:

  • Wellbeing - Monday 8 September, 1:30pm, United Reformed Church, WA10 2JZ.
  • Caring for Children - Tuesday 9 September, 10:00am, Park Road Centre, WA9 1HE
