Wi-Fi and computers
PCs are available at every library in St Helens and are free to use. You can book a computer in advance with your library card number and PIN.

- Read newspapers, magazines, comics and eBooks online
- Listen to audiobooks
- Use Microsoft Office apps like Word to create and edit documents
- Scan and print documents (charges apply)
- Discover your family history with Find My Past
With free Wi-Fi access at all our sites, you can also connect to the internet with your personal device, such as a mobile phone or laptop.
Need help getting online or using digital devices?
Our libraries host weekly Digital Drop-In sessions, made possible thanks to the fantastic volunteers from Include-IT Merseyside. These friendly, informal sessions are perfect for anyone who wants to build confidence with technology — no booking required!
