Food business premises registration

Every business engaged in the storage, preparation and/or sale of food (this includes 'wet' pubs and any social media sales of sweets etc) is required to register with the local authority at least 28 days before it is due to open. To register, you should complete the online form. 

New owners of businesses and transfers of ownership MUST update their registration via this online form. This is a legal requirement.

Registration can be completed on a smart phone or any device with internet access.

Once registered, the Food Standards Agency will send you further information and guidance.
