Christmas opening hours

Libraries

There are temporary library closures throughout December 2024.

All libraries will close at 1pm on Tuesday 24 December and opening hours will be reduced over the festive period.

Wednesday 25 December	CLOSED
Thursday 26 December	CLOSED
Friday 27 December	St Helens Library & Newton-le-Willows library will be open 10am - 5pm
Saturday 28 December	St Helens Library & Newton-le-Willows library will be open 10am - 1pm
Monday 30 December	St Helens Library & Newton-le-Willows library will be open 10am - 5pm
Tuesday 31 December	St Helens Library & Newton-le-Willows library will be open 10am - 1pm
Wednesday 1 January	CLOSED

Opening hours resume as usual from Thursday 2 January 2025.

All items that would normally be due back during the festive period will have an extended due date of Thursday 2 January 2025.
