There are temporary library closures throughout December 2024.
All libraries will close at 1pm on Tuesday 24 December and opening hours will be reduced over the festive period.

| Monday 30 December | St Helens Library & Newton-le-Willows library will be open 10am - 5pm |
| Tuesday 31 December | St Helens Library & Newton-le-Willows library will be open 10am - 1pm |
| Wednesday 1 January | CLOSED |
Opening hours resume as usual from Thursday 2 January 2025.
All items that would normally be due back during the festive period will have an extended due date of Thursday 2 January 2025.
