Approval of People Management Policies
Approval is sought for the implementation of the new suite of People Management Policies following the consolidation of 44 existing policies into 12 distict policies and 2 policy statements.
To ensure People Management policies are in an agreed and consistent format that can be easily accessed via the intranet.
To ensure a consistant approach to People Management Policies. The new suite of policies have been developed to ensure they follow a consistant format, reflect the Council's values and behaviours and are more succint. They will be presented in a way that will be more easily assessable on the intranet under the headings of 'Joining and Leaving St Helens', 'Working at St Helens', 'Change and Transformation' and 'Health and Wellbeing'. The policies will be supported by toolkits, guidance and supporting documentation.
