Would it not be a better service/ cost efficient to provide everyone with recycling bins instead of providing another bag?

If we collected your recycling in one bin we would have to pay more for the recycling to be processed. Kerbside sort recycling saves us money on disposal costs and supports the circular economy by collecting top quality recycling and reduces contamination. Any savings are reinvested into local services in St Helens.
