Haydock & St Helens Town Centre Ward Elections - Thursday 25 June 2026
Due to the sad death of a candidate the St Helens Town Centre Ward Election was countermanded on Thursday 7 May 2026 and will now take place on Thursday 25 June 2026.
Following the resignation of a councillor in the Haydock ward, two electors have now requested an election to be held to fill the vacancy and elect a new councillor for the Haydock ward, this will also take place on Thursday 25 June 2025.
Poll cards will be delivered from Thursday 21 May 2026, please check your poll card for information about your polling station or postal vote.
If you would like to stand as a candidate for the St Helens Town Centre or Haydock ward, please visit the Electoral Commission website for further guidance. The nomination period begins on Thursday 21 May 2026 and closes at 4pm on Friday 29 May 2026.
