Sherdley Park

On Saturday 7th September, Sherdley Park will be hosting the Reminisce festival 10th Birthday celebration. The time of the festival is from 12pm to 11pm.

Although there is currently a lot of fencing around where the event will take place, there are alternative footpaths put into place for residents to still be able to gain access to enjoy the facilities of the park. The event on the day (Saturday 7th September) will attract a high volume of festival goers, so the park areas may be busier than usual.

Sherdley Park Skate Park
New Skate Park
The park offers much to visitors who appreciate beautiful surroundings. There are acres of well-kept grassland and wildflower meadows that are perfect for sports activities or just walking the dog, plus a lake, ponds, streams, and areas of open woodland. Due to the wide pathways, it's a perfect safe place to teach your child to ride a bicycle, or scooter. Why not come down and test your skills at our new skate park.

Some areas of the grassed areas in Sherdley Park have been removed from frequent cutting to improve biodiversity throughout the park. This will help to improve the habitat to boost both the variety and numbers of insects and wildflower species within the park; four-metre-wide mown paths have been maintained within the uncut grassed areas so that walkers can enjoy the meadow.
