Statement of Gambling Policy

GAMBLING ACT 2005 

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO PUBLISH A POLICY STATEMENT (STATEMENT OF PRINCIPLES) 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that in accordance with the Gambling Act 2005 (Licensing Authority Policy Statement)(England and Wales) Regulations 2006 St Helens Borough Council, acting in its capacity as the Licensing Authority for the said Borough, will publish its Statement of Principles pursuant to the Gambling Act 2005 on 16 January 2025. 

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the above mentioned Statement of Principles will come into effect on 31 January 2025. 

A full copy of the above statement may be inspected on and after the said publication on the Council's website here: Statement of Gambling Policy (PDF, 934 KB), or can be inspected at St Helens Town Hall Reception, Victoria Square, St Helens, WA10 1HF anytime between Monday to Friday between the hours of 10:00 and 16:00.
