Are you aged 18-25, living or working in St Helens, and passionate about a career in the arts?
Do you want to gain real-world experience, connect with creative professionals, and make a difference in your community?
The FLASH (Future Leaders in Arts in St Helens) programme is a paid mentoring and training opportunity hosted by the Local Cultural Education Partnership (LCEP) and funded through St Helens' Borough of Culture Award. We're looking for up to 15 enthusiastic and creative young people to join our 2025 cohort.

Workshops with experienced local creatives
A Level 1 Safeguarding qualification
1-to-1 mentorship from professional artists
Hands-on experience planning and delivering creative workshops in St Helens primary schools
Valuable insights into the UK arts sector

Application deadline: Tuesday 24th June 2025
Interviews: Tuesday 1st & Wednesday 2nd July

Additional workshop delivery dates will take place between October and November, arranged in collaboration with mentors and local schools.

Living, studying or working in the St Helens local area
Interested in developing a career in the arts or creative industries
Committed to participating fully in the programme schedule
Successful applicants will also need to undergo DBS clearance, as the role involves working in school settings with children.
