Creative Alternatives

Creative Alternatives is a FREE accessible service that supports your mental wellbeing with a mix of creative activities and social connections. The team offers a friendly and supportive programme that will boost your mood and give you something to look forward to each week.

Having a creative outlet can really help you to relax, de-stress and focus your mind on something positive. The emphasis is on enjoying the process and expressing yourself creatively using a mix of visual arts and creative writing activities.

"Creative Alternatives has been a real lifeline for me during the pandemic. I've been able to go on a creative journey and it has allowed me to stay in touch with people during such a stressful time. It has also helped me not to worry as much as I used to, which I'm very grateful for." - client testimonial

You can join Creative Alternatives throughout the year via their referral process. You can also attend a taster session to help you decide if it's the right thing for you before you commit to the longer programme of either seven or 12 weeks.

The team are currently offering both online or face-to-face group sessions at St Helens Town Hall, so depending on your needs you can choose which is more suited to you.
