Tree policy and trees to be removed

Listed below are trees within the St Helens borough that are to be removed. Trees are only removed for specific reasons laid down in the council's tree policy.

We are about to start some section 106 work on Redbrow wood. Below is a list of works we are to carry out.

• The removal of dead dangerous and diseased trees, predominately Ash trees due to Ash dieback by footpaths, this is following the tree survey and granted felling licence by the forestry commission.
• Drainage Ditch work, and installation of drainage pipes to aid with flooding issues.
• Installation of new steps, replacing rotted timbers, and redressing surface
• Construction of new footpath from woodland to Catherine Way Entrance via large access barrier near number 74 Catherine Way.
• Scrape off, and redress footpaths with Hoppath.
