Our Arts Strategy for St Helens Borough sets an ambitious direction for the arts over the next five years.
Developed with partners across the arts sector through a local steering group, it has been designed to be inclusive to help ensure every resident can engage with the arts and will support post Covid-19 recovery plans as well as future regeneration projects.
The strategy comes at a pivotal time with St Helens once again selected to be Borough of Culture for the Liverpool City Region in 2023, which will be a significant opportunity for St Helens to showcase that we have some great assets, organisations, and artists and that we are pioneers in socially engaged arts practice.
With energy, will and talent, St Helens will inspire its residents, artists and creative industries to flourish and become the cultural model for other boroughs to follow.
