Are you a member of the public who has concerns for a child or young person?

If you are worried a child may be suffering significant harm, or if you are concerned a child has suffered harm, neglect or abuse, please follow the advice below:

If you believe a child or young person is at immediate risk of harm, you should contact the police by dialling 999.

If you have concerns about a child or young person but believe they are not at immediate risk you can:

·         Discuss your concerns with a professional you trust such as a health visitor, teacher or GP

·         Contact the St Helens Family Hubs https://sthelensfamilyhub.sthelens.gov.uk/    Family hubs provide access to a range of services and support for families within St Helens including information and access to a number of different agencies.

·         Contact Merseyside Police on 101 (24-hour non-emergency number)

·         Contact the MASH Team via contact cares on 01744 676767 option 2

If you do not want the family to know that you have shared your concerns we can reassure that your details or identity will not be shared with the family
