Our Vision For Technology Enabled Care

Our vision for Adult Social Care in St Helens Borough has been developed together with service users, their loved ones, and local residents to enable people to live healthier, happier lives.

St Helens Borough Council work with many individuals who live with a range of conditions and needs.

Some individuals with complex needs may need to complete an adult social care assessment to get the help and support they need; however, some may be able to live independently at home with a few adaptations and the help of assistive technology.

Assistive technology is a remarkable field that has significantly improved the lives of individuals and will continue to do so.

Our aim is to showcase innovative assistive technology that could be used to help a person live independently at home.

Family members and support networks will be able to monitor the data and act upon any issues that are highlighted. This will enable the individual to live a more fulfilling and independent life.
