Information for Tenants of Supported Housing

If you live in supported housing, including accommodation classed as specified accommodation, you should expect your landlord or support provider to:

  • Provide accommodation that is safe, well-managed and appropriately maintained
  • Deliver care, support or supervision that meets your individual needs
  • Help you develop the skills and confidence needed for independent living
  • Review your support regularly to ensure it continues to meet your needs
  • Treat you fairly, respectfully and with dignity

If you need help with Housing Benefit, your landlord or support provider should support you with the application process.
