Council Chamber

The Council Chamber is only available for wedding ceremonies and is one of the few rooms on the second floor of the Town Hall, with an equally unique character provided by the ornate wood panelling, incredible dark wood and gold double-height ceiling, and with light streaming in from the elevated 360-degree windows.

The chamber can hold up to 100 people, is filled with historical artwork and includes access to the Assembly Hall balcony at the rear.

You will be asked to finalise all bookings using our booking request form (Word doc, 116 KB). Once we have your booking form, we will arrange payment.
