"I decided to do the Degree Apprenticeship as it felt like the best step for career progression. Being able to earn a relevant and recognised degree in your career field, whilst your employer pays for it, felt like too good an opportunity to miss. So far, the apprenticeship has been really rewarding. Although I've gained knowledge during my employment, it's giving me a further understanding of things and it's making me think about situations entirely differently. It's good for self-development too, as well as professional."
"I have absolutely loved my apprenticeship. I have always enjoyed learning but this one was extra special as it wasn't about my children, it wasn't about my husband, it was all about me. It gave me focus and brought back a sense of pride that I could still do it. I decided to do the payroll apprenticeship as I had the experience but will hopefully now have the qualification to go alongside it. It's given me a broader understanding of payroll and employment law and I also got to experience a different payroll system."
